These triptychs (sets of 3 images) represent the thought process and historical connections that will drive the narrative for the graphic novel. They sketch out the past to the present social reality.

I made them to submit to the Open Society Institute with a grant application to get funding for the design and historical research.

In September 2009, we received the grant, and will begin production in January 2010.
